Rift Rivals NA vs EU가 끝나고 UoL 공식 페이스북 페이지에 올라온 글입니다.

사실 별 내용은 아닌데, 내용이 너무 깔끔하고 모범적이라... 길지도 않아서 그냥 한번 올려봅니다.

Veni, Vidi, Perdidi : We came, We saw, We lost.

Team SoloMid destroyed us 3-0 in the #RiftRivals final on Saturday, after a solid performance over the whole tournament. GGWP, they were the best by far. 
This was a though loss, an eye-opening experience and a painful memory to carry around.

This seal the faith of Europe vs NA for the next months, it is now NA > EU, and we have nothing to say against it.
We failed, we all failed : Fnatic LoL Team, G2 Esports, Unicorns Of Love.
Maybe Europe was over-confident? Maybe NA was super-ready?
Bjergsen was too strong. MikeYeung was too strong. We sucked.
It's important to acknowledge how strong they were. This game is fair : we lost because of us. This is the reality to face if you want to be able to say "we won because of us."

Luckily, this tournament was just for meme and glory : we did not lose any "seeding points" for international events, the money prize-pool was small, and it was in Berlin so we did not have to travel around.
It's better to lose now than getting crushed during Worlds Group Stage.

Time to go back to LCS with a new mindset : yes we are good, but we are far from the best. Really far. Reaaaally far.
Good news: we know how to get back on track. Can we work as efficient as we would like to? The next weeks will tell us about it.

유니콘들!


Veni, Vidi, Perdidi: 우리는 왔노라, 보았노라, 그리고 졌노라.


지난 토요일, 대회 내내 훌륭한 경기력을 보여주던 TSM은 Rift Rivals 결승에서 우리 UOL을 3-0으로 완파했습니다. GG WP, TSM은 정말 훌륭했습니다.


이번 대회로 인해 향후 몇달간 EU vs NA의 운명은 정해져버렸네요. 북미는 유럽보다 강했고, 저희는 아무 반박도 할수 없습니다.


우리는 실패했어요, 우리 모두가 말이죠, 프나틱, G2 그리고 UoL 모두.

어쩌면 유럽이 너무 자신만만했는지도 모르죠? 어쩌면 북미팀들이 매우 열심히 준비를 해왔을수도 있구요.

비역슨은 너무나도 강했습니다. 마이크영도 너무나도 훌륭했죠. 우리는 못했네요.

그들이 얼마나 훌륭했는지 인정하는것은 중요합니다. 이 게임은 공평해요: 우리는 우리가 못했기때문에 졌습니다. 만약 당신이 "우리가 잘했기때문에 이겼어"라고 말하고 싶어한다면 이것이 당신이 맞서야만 하는 현실입니다.


운좋게도, 이 토너먼트는 meme과 영광/명예만을 위한 대회였어요. 저희는 다가올 월드챔피언쉽의 시드권을 잃은것도 아니고, 상금도 적었고, 베를린에서 열린 대회였기에 장거리 여행을 할 필요도 없었습니다.


월드 챔피언쉽 조별리그에서 박살나느니 지금 먼저 져보는게 낫죠.


이제 새로운 마음가짐을 가지고 다시 LCS로 돌아갈 때입니다. 우리는 괜찮은 팀이에요, 최고의 자리랑은 거리가 상당히 멀지만 말이에요. 상~~~~~~당히 말이죠.

희소식 하나: 우린 우리가 뭘 해야할지 압니다. 원하는 만큼 효율적으로 해낼수 있냐구요? 그건 몇주내로 알게되겠죠.
