Hi all, just read an interesting post on lol.inven.co.kr about scripts in korea. I am not the writer of the post, just translating it into english

I'm an user who first found the script 'lol helper' on March 2014 and reported it to riot Korea. I am writing this post to tell the story behind the scripters and riot Korea's response regarding the situation.
The first screenshot is the conversation between the post writer and the riot korea. Pretty much a macro reply.
Three months later the website that sells scripts is still going strong and the 'lol helpers' starts to make impact in the community.
The number of users using scripts increases.
The writer contacts riot again after 3 months and gets pretty much the same reply, and nothing has been done. He thinks if riot complains the the hosting domain the site would be closed in a week.
But Riot Korea has done nothing for the next few weeks, the writer gets really pissed and befriends one of the creators of the script and give their contact details to Riot Korea.
The scriptors have bragged about making thousand dollar a day to the writer.
With the contact details Riot Korea finally makes contact with the scripters and invites them to their HQ.
The writer has asked the scripters what happened at the HQ.
Scripters : Are we going to get sued? Riot Korea : Riot Korea on principle do not sue anyone in any case.
Scripters : What about the ratings? Riot Korea : Those who would get to higher tiers will get there with or without the scripts. (No idea how much impact this would have in the game)
Riot Korea : Can you refrain from selling the software? Scripters : Even if we dont do it someone else will Riot Korea : Thats none of your concern, we will take care of it.
After about an hour of conversation they really didnt come to any conclusion and went home. The scripters said there were lots of gaming stations and drinks in HQ.
After scripters heard they will not be punished anyway in terms of law, they started sell like crazy and made quite a fortune.
After this the writer has given up on riot and quit the game, and the scripts are rampaging in Korea in all ELOs.

Its not only the KR server. TR Server, our neighbours for euw and eune, had pretty much their whole challenger bracket filled with scripters. A while back riot send out a banwave, and i believe it wasnt to those person that were scripting, but to everyone that was high elo, that was online before their banwave.
there are scripter in euw too. There are 5 man groups with 2 scripters and 3 people getting boosted by those 2 scripters. i hope riot is going no mercy after those guys, and those that get scripter to boost them.
한국서버만이 아니라 터키서버도 그럼. 우리 유럽 서부와 유럽 북동부의 이웃들 말이지, 걔네 챌린저 리스트에는 스크립터들로 가득해. 라이엇이 밴웨이브를 날리긴 했는데, 내 생각엔 스크립터 쓴 애들만이 아니라, elo높은 애들중에 밴웨이브 직전에 접속했던 애들한테도 날린거같음
유럽 서부의 스크립터들도 마찬가지. 5명중 2명은 스크립터고 나머지 3명은 2명의 스크립터에게 끌려다님. 나는 그놈들에게 라이엇이 무자비하게 스크립터를 잡는 작업을 가속하길 희망함.
