das Redel: (lit, "the wheel")
A technique where you circle your sword under your opponents and thrust. Also called "The Peacock's Tail."

레델 (수레바퀴)
상대방 앞에서 검을 회전시키다가 찌르는 기술. "공작새의 꼬리"라고도 부른다.




A technique in which the weapon is brandished prior to attacking in order to confuse the opponent. It is unclear whether this simply means a circular motion, or implies a precise technical meaning. 

(Cf. Rad in Mair (V), fol. 1.173v; Redel in the Ringeck Fechtbuch, fol. 52r. ?rat Egenolph 14r. Auerswald B3r, D4r, E6v seems to be a different meaning. Cf. Rinde.)

공격에 앞서서 상대를 현혹시키기 위해 무기를 휘두르는 것. 이것이 단순히 원형을 그리면서 휘두른다는 것인지, 혹은 전문적인 의미를 내포하고 있는 것인지는 불확실하다.
